Wed Photo of the Day

From iPhone. This is the grain on my desk. Converted to black and white and bumped the contrast up to really bring the grain out! Just experimenting! :D

Tuesday Photo of the Day - Old Rusty Wheel

I love taking photos of old stuff. This is sitting by this old house near where I live. I drive by it every day when I go to and from work. I couldn't resist any longer and had to take a photo of this. I took my DSLR with me and took a few pics. I love black and white for stuff like this, so I did a conversion in photoshop and here's the result.

Here's another photo from the same location.

Wed Photo of the Day

This is what is called a Still Life Shot. It's a Railroad Tie that was made into art. I used my Canon 30D DSLR mounted on a Tripod and a light box with white paper for a background.

Tuesday Photo of the Day - Sunrise

Actually posting 2 photos of the day of the same sunrise. This was shot with my iPhone and I just happened to be at the right place at the right time with the right conditions. The sun looked so cool. The sun was moving and light changing so fast, I only had time to get 2 good shots.

Monday Photo of the Day - Painting with Light!

Did this before Bed last night so didn't get it posted until this morning. I set my camera on a tripod in the hallway. I focused on the tile by the front door, turned off the lights, opened the shutter in Bulb mode for about 5 seconds while I used my laser pointer to draw a smiley face on the floor.  Took a little practice and guess work to do this one!
