Got early Saturday morning and went to a local Nature Preserve. Got there about sunrise when the wild life was active!

"Sunrise, time to get up!"

"What are you looking?"

"Don't mess with my kid!"

"Let's go play"

I really hit pay dirt in the past few weeks. Since I already had the solar filter for my camera, I shot the Venus Transit which was also a lot of fun. Here's the results. Again, make sure you use the proper equipment and filters if you decide to do this to protect your eyes.

Just for fun, I purchased a Solar Filter and shot photos of the eclipse. This was a first for me and a lot of fun. Very happy with the results. If you are reading this and considering doing this yourself, please make sure you do your research and get the right filters and equipment. Viewing the sun through your camera's lens without the proper filter and precautions can cause irreversable damage to your eyes up to and including blindness. Be very careful.
